Key terms

Name - The Name name of the Trunk Grouptrunk group. Use a name term that describes the purpose of the Trunk Grouptrunk group. Consider appending -OC to the end of the name to indicate this is an Origination Customer Trunk Group.

Direction - Origination Trunk Groups represent a call from the PSTN to a Customer. An Origination Vendor Trunk Group defines the Inbound (A) Call Leg and an . An Origination Customer Trunk defines the Outbound (B) Call Leg.

Max PDD - Defines the maximum Post Dial Delay. Early Media - This setting will add adds an SDP to the provisional response (i.e. SIP 18x) if one was not none are present. This setting is rarely used on an Origination Trunk Group as most PSTN vendors provide Early Media in their provisional responses.

Bursting Threshold - When enabled, the Bursting Port value can be configured.
