The Peeredge SBC fully supports E.164 numbers, but internally the Peeredge Orchestrator SBC does not store the leading [+] symbol as part of the number. So in the Portal’s User Interface the [+] symbol should not be included. When the SBC communicates to its SIP Trunking Peers, it uses a full E.164 (e.g. includes the plus) numbers is all relevant SIP headers, when the Send E.164 option is checked on the Origination Customer and Termination Vendor trunk groups. The SBC, by default, accepts E.164 formatted number from its SIP Trunking Peers, on the Termination Customer and Origination Vendor trunk groups. The recommended best practice is to always use E.164 formatted numbers.
For example, when adding or uploading numbers to the Numbering page of an Origination Routplan do not include the [+].
