A Relationship Contact relationship contact is defined with as a specific Relationshiprelationship. A Relationship Contact relationship contact is defined by a Contact Typecontact type, a Contact Namecontact name, a unique Email Addressemail address, a Contact contact IM Address (currently not used), and a Primary Phone Numberprimary phone number.

The type of Relationship Contacts relationship contacts include:

Balance - This contact type will receive…receive emails with balance limit warnings, suspensions and information about outstanding payments.

Billing - This contact type will receive…receive invoices generated by the platform.

NOC - This contact type will receive email notifications of Trunk Group changes ( if the Send Trunk Group Notification option is enable in enabled via the Relationships → Relationship Information page.

Note:

  • The same Contact Information (i.e. same Contact Name, Email Address, etc.) can be defined in more than one Relationship and the same Contact Information can be used for a Subscriber Contact.

A subscriber contact is defined at the Platform Level. A Subscriber Contact is defined by a Contact Type, a User Name, a Contact Name, a unique Contact Email Address, a Contact IM Address (currently not used), and a Primary Phone Number.

The type of Subscriber Contact includeincludes:

NOC - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Sales - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Billing - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Admin - This subscriber contact type represents people who have administrator privileges to access and manage the configuration of the Peeredge Switches from the Peeredge Portal.

Technical - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

  • The superadmin is the only contact type that can adjust Admin subscriber contacts.

  • Peeredge uses these subscriber contact types information to track and record changes that every subscriber contact makes to the platform. Go to Tools → General Logs to review platform changes and the associated subscriber contact.
