Direct-Inward-Dial (DID) - This type of Rate Deck applies to Origination Customer Trunk Groups for US & Canada destinations.
Toll-Free -

EEA -
Tier - There are seven (7) possible tiers. Each tier can have have it’s own duration, increment, rate, mrc and effective date. In practice, all tiers typically have the same own duration, increment, rate, mrc and effective date.
Duration - This refers to the initial call duration measured in seconds. For rating purposes all calls will be rated the minimum of on duration. For example a 3 second call with a duration of 6 seconds will be billed for 6 seconds. A 42 second call with a duration of 60 seconds will be billed for a 60 second call.
Increment - This refers to the subsequent call duration increments beyond the initial duration. For example a 100 second call with a duration and increment of 6 seconds will be billed for 1 duration and 16 increments. An 10 min 22 second call with a duration and increment of 60 seconds will be billed for 1 duration and 10 increments.
rate_minute - The per minute rate
mrc -
interrate - This is the rate an inter LATA call (i.e. the calling number and the call number are in different LATAs). Calls between the US and Canada would be interrated calls. This rate only applies to Prefix Jurisdiction Rate Decks.
intrarate - This is the rate for an intra LATA call (i.e. the calling number and the called number are in the same LATA). This rate only applies to Prefix Jurisdiction Rate Decks.
ijrate - This is the rate for indeterminate jurisdiction (ij) calls. Examples of ij calls include calls from US Territories (Porto Rico, Guam, etc.) to US & Canada locations or calls from Toll-Free numbers to US & Canada locations. This rate only applies to Prefix Jurisdiction Rate Decks.
effective_date - The date that the rate is effective (can be used). In practice all rate usually have the same effective date. I the effective_date is blank then XXX

Prefix Jurisdiction
...
The Prefix Jurisdiction Rate Deck type uses the NPANXX of the DNIS in the SIP Invite arriving on the Termination Customer Trunk Group to determine the rate to be applied to US / Canada long-distance calls.
Code The NPANXX prefix.
Intrarate The Intrastate Rate is selected when the NPANXXY of the ANI and DNIS in the SIP Invite are located in the same State/Province which is determined by querying the LERG.
Interate The Interstate Rate is selected when the NPANXY of the ANI and DNIS in the SIP Invite are located in the same State/Province which is determined by querying the LERG.
IJrate The Indeterminate Rate is selected when the NPANXY of the ANI or the DNIS in not found in the LERG. Examples of indeterminate calls include calls from International locations and US Territories (Porto Rico, Guam, etc.) to US & Canada locations or calls from Toll-Free numbers to US & Canada locations.
Initial Increment This refers to the initial call duration measured in seconds. For rating purposes, all calls are rated the minimum initial increment. For example, a 3-second call with an initial increment of 6 seconds is billed for 6 seconds. A 42-second call with an initial increment of 60 seconds is billed for a 60-second call.
Subsequent Increment This refers to the subsequent call duration increments beyond the initial duration. For example, a 100-second call with a initial increment and subsequent increment of 6 seconds is billed for 1 initial increment and 16 subsequent increments. A 10 minute and 22-second call with an initial increment and subsequent increment of 60 seconds is billed for 1 initial increment and 10 subsequent increments.
All codes in the US & Canada Rate Decks must be 7 digits in length i.e. 1NPANXX.
There is one exception: the default rate i.e. code with value 1 can be added to the Rate Deck.

LATA/OCN Jurisdictional
The LATA/OCN Jurisdictional Rate Deck uses the LATA and OCN returned in the LERG query XXX
the NPANXX of the DNIS in the SIP Invite arriving on the Termination Customer Trunk Group to determine the rate to be applied to US / Canada long-distance calls.
If a Prefix Jurisdiction Rate Deck is assigned to the Termination Trunk Group then the LATA/OCN Jurisdictional Rate Deck will not be used.

Rate Deck Terminology
Tier There are seven (7) possible tiers. Each tier can have its own initial increment, subsequent increment, rate, mrc, and effective date. In practice, all tiers usually have the same initial increment, subsequent increment, rate, mrc, and effective date.
The Customer and Vendor Tiers allow you to configure a tiered (rate-based-upon-route) system to match DID customers to vendors.
A 10 minute and 22-second call with an initial increment and subsequent increment of 60 seconds is billed for 1 initial increment and 10 subsequent increments.
rate_minute The per minute rate
mrc - XXX
effective_date The date that the rate is effective (can be used). In practice, all rates have the same effective date. If the effective_date is blank, then XXX.
