Capacity Groups groups allow the sharing of Ports and Calls Per Second (CPS) between one or more Trunk Groups trunk groups in the same Relationshiprelationship.

Capacity Groups groups can be viewed and managed in the Relationships → Groups → Capacity page or in the Relationships → All → Trunk Groups page specific to a single Relationship.

Key terms

RELATIONSHIP - The name of the Relationship that the Capacity Group belongs incapacity group relationship.

CAPACITY GROUP NAME - The name of the Capacity Groupcapacity group.

PORT LIMIT - The maximum number of ports that can be used by all members of the Capacity Groupcapacity group.

CPS LIMIT - The maximum number of calls per second that can be used by all members of the Capacity Groupcapacity group.

BURSTING THRESHOLD -

TG ASSIGNED - The number of Trunk Groups trunk groups associated with the Capacity Groupcapacity group.

Any configured Ports, CPS, and or Bursting Thresholds at the Trunk Group trunk group level take precedence over values defined in an associated Capacity Groupcapacity group. However, any in-use ports, CPS and Bursting Thresholds for such a Trunk Group trunk group still count towards the Capacity Group capacity group limits.
