NAME (ID) - The Name name of the Trunk Group trunk group followed by the Trunk Group ID in parathesis. Trunk Group IDs uniquely identify a trunk group and are automatically assigned when the Trunk Group group is created. The first Trunk Group created will have trunk group created has an ID of 1. Each new Trunk Group will have group has an ID with a value of 1 higher than the previously created Trunk Groupgroup. Use meaningful names to help identify the purpose of the Trunk Groupgroup.

DIRECTION - Trunk Groups groups can have a direction of either Termination or Origination direction. A Termination Trunk Group is used to “terminate” traffic coming from a customer to the PSTN. An Origination Trunk Group is used to deliver PSTN traffic to a Customer.

RELATIONSHIP - Trunk Groups groups can have a relationship of either Customer or Vendor relationship. A Customer Trunk Group is used to communicate to customer SIP enable network devices. A Vendor Trunk Group is used to communicate to communicates with Vendor (PSTN Providers) SIP enable -enabled network devices.

RATE DECKS - Displays the number of rate decks associated to with the Trunk Group. Hover over the rate deck number to display the rate deck names.

ROUTEPLANS - Displays the name of the routeplan associated to with the Trunk Group.

TRUNKS - Displays the number of Trunks trunks that are part of the Trunk Group. Hover over the Trunks number in the TRUNKS column to display the name of the trunks.

MONITORING - Displays a Yes when Trunk Monitoring is enabled otherwise, a -- is displayed. Note: Trunk Monitoring only applies to Origination Customer and Termination Vendor Trunk Groups.

MEDIA ANCHORED - Displays Enabled if Anchor Media is Enabled in the Media Handling page, otherwise, it Displayed displays Disabled.

PORTS - Displays the number of Ports ports configured in the Ports field in the General Section of the Trunk Groups Info page. If the Ports field is empty then , a “-- will be displayed displays. For Origination Customer and Termination Vendor Trunk Groups, Ports defines the total number of simultaneous calls that can be forwarded across all Trunks configured in the Trunk Group. For Origination Vendor and Termination Customer Trunk Groups, Ports defines the total number of simultaneous calls that can be received by all of the Trunks configured in the Trunk Group. When the Ports field is empty, and a Capacity Group is not associated with the Trunk Group, then the Port limit equal equals the system Port limit, as displayed in the upper right of the portal.

CPS - Displays the number of calls per second configured in the CPS field in the General Section of the Trunk Groups Info page. If the CPS field is empty then , a “-- will be displayed” displays. CPS determines the number of call calls per second that can be processed by the Trunk Group. When the Ports field is empty, and a Capacity Group is not associated with the Trunk Group, then the CPS limit equal equals the system CPS limit, as displayed in the upper right of the portal.

STATUS - Please see Capacity Groups for information on Capacity Groups When checked, the trunk group is available for use. When not checked, the group is not used. The Status (use) of the trunk group is independent of the monitoring (e.g. sending and receiving of SIP Option messages).
