Capacity groups allow the sharing of Ports and Calls Per Second (CPS) between one or more trunk groups in the same relationship.

Capacity groups can be viewed and managed in the Relationships → Groups → Capacity page or in the Relationships → All → Trunk Groups page specific to a single Relationship.

Key terms

RELATIONSHIP - The name of the capacity group relationship.

CAPACITY GROUP NAME - The name of the capacity group.

PORT LIMIT - The maximum number of ports that can be used by all members of the capacity group.

CPS LIMIT - The maximum number of calls per second that can be used by all members of the capacity group.

BURSTING THRESHOLD -

TG ASSIGNED - The number of trunk groups associated with the capacity group.

Any configured Ports, CPS, or Bursting Thresholds at the trunk group level take precedence over values defined in an associated capacity group. However, any in-use ports, CPS and Bursting Thresholds for such a trunk group still count towards the capacity group limits.
