A relationship contact is defined as a specific relationship. A relationship contact is defined by a contact type, a contact name, a unique email address, a contact IM Address (currently not used), and a primary phone number.

The type of relationship contacts include:

Balance - This contact type will receive emails with balance limit warnings, suspensions and information about outstanding payments.

Billing - This contact type will receive invoices generated by the platform.

NOC - This contact type will receive email notifications of Trunk Group changes if the Send Trunk Group Notification option is enabled via the Relationships → Relationship Information page.

Rate - This contact type will receive a list of rates associated with specific trunk configurations..

Sales - This contact type is also known as Agent(s). This contact type will receive emails with information about their commissions.

Trigger - This contact type will receive notifications about performance metrics as configured in the Triggers tab when updating Trunk Groups.

Note:

  • The same Contact Information (i.e. same Contact Name, Email Address, etc.) can be defined in more than one Relationship and the same Contact Information can be used for a Subscriber Contact.

  • .Relationship contacts do not have permission to log into the Orchestrator’s Management Portal.

A subscriber contact is defined at the Platform Level. A Subscriber Contact is defined by a Contact Type, a User Name, a Contact Name, a unique Contact Email Address, a Contact IM Address (currently not used), and a Primary Phone Number.

The type of Subscriber Contact includes:

NOC - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Sales - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Billing - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Admin - This subscriber contact type represents people who have administrator privileges to access and manage the configuration of the Peeredge Switches from the Peeredge Portal.

Technical - Login rights can be defined for this subscriber contact type.

Note:

  • The superadmin is the only contact type that can adjust Admin subscriber contacts.
