Trunk group configurations are based on a combination of two variable sets: termination/origination and vendor/customer. A unique rate deck can be assigned to each trunk group.
Termination - Vendor
A truck group that handles the traffic that you send to a vendor.
Termination - Customer
Set up a truck group for a customer that sends you traffic. You, in turn, send the traffic to a vendor.
Origination - Vendor
A trunk group that manages DID and toll-free traffic on numbers that you purchase from a vendor.
Origination - Customer
A trunk group that manages traffic on numbers that you sell to a customer.
Note It is possible to configure a trunk for Wholesale Termination Vendors, Customers, Originating DID's, and Toll Free.
