What are the types of Trunk Groups?

Trunk group configurations are based on a combination of two variable sets: termination/origination and vendor/customer. A unique rate deck can be associated with each trunk group.
Termination - Vendor
A truck group that handles the traffic that is sent to a vendor. This traffic was received a Termination - Customer trunk group.
Termination - Customer
A truck group for traffic that is sent from a customer. In turn, the traffic is forwarded to a vendor via a Termination - Vendor trunk group.
Origination - Vendor
A trunk group for traffic that is received from a vendor. The traffic is forwarded to a customer via an Origination Customer trunk group.
Origination - Customer
A trunk group for traffic that is sent to a customer. The traffic is received on an Origination - Vendor trunk group.
Note:
It is possible to configure a trunk for Wholesale Termination, Vendors, Customers, Originating DID's, and Toll Free.
