This setting allows you to anchor (proxy) the media of calls through the Peeredge platform. This feature is useful for media topology hiding or going through firewalls.
Peeredge supports on-demand transcoding for media-anchored calls. If the SBC finds there is not a suitable codec negotiation on anchored calls, the system automatically negotiates the suitable originating and terminating codec and transcodes the session.
