Capacity Group

A truck group configuration that pools Port/CPS limits and assigns the total to multiple trunk groups. Each trunk group counts its individual usage towards the group limit.

Example

To use 500 ports in a capacity group, you can either

  • a) NOT set a TG limit and let the capacity group limit the ports (i.e. anything up to 500 on either or both), OR

  • b) set a higher limit (e.g. 250) to allow each trunk group to have a limit.
