Long-Distance Call
The Peeredge Orchestrator defines a long-distance call as any call to a US/Canada destination that is not defined as a Local Call. Long-distance Calls can be rated as Intrastate, Interstate, or Indeterminate.
An Intrastate Call is a long-distance call where the NPANXXY of the ANI and the DNIS (from the SIP Invite) are in the same state/province as determined by querying the LERG.
An Interstate Call is a long-distance call where the NPANXXY of the ANI and the DNIS (from the SIP Invite) are in different states/provinces as determined by querying the LERG.
An Indeterminate call is a long-distance call where either the NPANXXY of the ANI or the DNIS (from the SIP Invite) is not found in the LERG. All calls to US/Canada destinations from international locations would be Indeterminate calls.
