Add Rule (Term RP Routing Rules)

Rule Name - Allows users to define the name of the Rule.

Rule Condition - Rule Conditions are a rule or set of rules that instruct the platform on how to route traffic.

 

If call come from

Any - Any source is matched.

Anonymous - The From header must be Anonymous.

Exact Match - The value entered will be compared to the user portion of the From header for an exact match (a + symbol (if present) is not used in the comparison).

Partial Match - The value entered will be compare to the user portion of the From header for a partial match (a + symbol (if present) is not used in the comparison).

Country - Select the Country the call is from in the drop-down list. The ANI is compared to the default MCL to identify the Country.

Destination - Select the Country the call is from in the drop-down list. The ANI is compared to the default MCL to identify the Country and Destination breakout of that Country.

LERG - Select NANPA Toll-Free, OCN, LATA, LATA/OCN, State, Ratecenter, Prefix Type from the primary drop-down. Depending on the selection from the primary drop-down, select the desired selection from the secondary and/or tertiary drop-down(s).

ANI List - select the appropriate ANI List from the drop-down (includes the official DNO/Do Not Originate list).

Prefix List - select the appropriate Prefix List from the drop-down.

Country - Select the Country the call is from in the drop-down list. The DNIS is compared to the default MCL to identify the Country.

Destination - Select the Country the call is from in the drop-down list. The DNIS is compared to the default MCL to identify the Country and Destination breakout of that Country.

LERG - Select NANPA Toll-Free, OCN, LATA, LATA/OCN, State, Ratecenter, Prefix Type from the primary drop-down. Depending on the selection from the primary drop-down, select the desired selection from the secondary and/or tertiary drop-down(s).

DNIS List - Select the appropriate DNIS List from the drop-down.

Prefix List - Select the appropriate Prefix List from the drop-down.

DNC List - Select this option to route against the FTC DNC (Do Not Call) list.

Any - Any media IP is matched.

Exact Match - The value entered will be compared to the Media IP(s) described in a SIP invite for an exact match.

Partial Match - The value entered will be compared to the Media IP(s) described in a SIP invite for a partial match.

IP List - Select the appropriate Media IP List from the drop-down.

Static Routing - Allows for the Vendors Considered to be prioritized in a configureable order via the Priority column fields in the Vendors Considered section of the Add Routing Rule page.

% Routing - Allows for the Vendors Considered to receive a percentage of traffic via the Percent column fields in the Vendors Considered section of the Add Routing Rule page. The total of the Percent values entered must equal 100.

LCR - Instructs the system to perform Least Cost Routing.

Block - Instructs the system to block traffic based upon the previously selected rule conditions.

 

Select Fallback Rule…

Selecting a Fallback Rule will instruct the plaform to follow the selected fallback rule’s rule condition (action only: Static, % or LCR) and considered vendors.

 

Expires on (Optional)

If this rule is to have an expiry date (the date and time when the rule is no longer checked), then enter the date and time that the rule is set to expire on.
